One Last Honeymoon

The time before Sydney arrives is quickly beginning to dwindle. Tim and I looked at our schedules for the next few months and we had only a few weekends were we did not have something scheduled. We wanted to take one last trip with just the two of us. We noticed the weather was starting to cool down and we thought camping would be a fun thing to do. After doing a little bit of research and getting recommendations from others, we decided to try out a campsite called Cherrystone. It is located on the Eastern Shore of Virginia; about two hours from our house. I called the campsite reservation center and asked if they had anything open: cabins or campsites. I was keeping my fingers crossed for an open cabin. The thought of sleeping on the ground in a tent and being seven and a half months pregnant did not sound like fun to me. Luckily there was one cabin available! We were fortunate because every weekend in October people go to Cherrystone and celebrate Halloween. The name of the campsite is actually changed to "Scarystone!" People return to this place every year and they go all out in decorating their tents, campers, and cabins! It was unreal the amount of time they put into their decorations.

Anyway, here are a few pictures we snapped during our mini-vacation. We definitely want to return to the campsite in the future. We had such a wonderful time with just the two of us and we can't wait to continue the tradition with our growing family.
