Ok...things have been insane since school started in August. We have officially earned the title of "Blog Slacker of the Year." Many apologies for not updating the blog like we should. Sydney had her nine month check up a few weeks ago. Her pediatrician said she looked great and she is right where she needs to be. She weighed 20.00 pounds and was 28 inches long. They measured her head, but I forgot the measurement. In a week or so she will be getting her flu shot. We are not looking forward to this because she has to get two doses of the flu vaccine. BOO!
Sydney has grown leaps and bounds over the past month. She holds her own bottle while eating and she picks up her baby puffs (small crackers that dissolve quickly) all by herself and gets them in her mouth just about every time! She is crawling all over the place. You have to keep a close eye on her because when she eyes something she wants, she gets there in NO TIME! She is pulling up on the sofa and coffee table. Her favorite place to play is under the kitchen table. She loves to e loves to zig zag through the table and chair legs. Luckily we have sustained very few goose eggs on her head!
In the teeth department, she only has her two bottom teeth. We think her top two teeth are going to make their grand appearance soon. She is drooling like a leaking faucet and she is a little more cranky than usual. Tim and I get a kick out of her two bottom teeth...we could just eat her up! :)
Here is a slideshow I put together from our trip to Water Country in August. More slideshows and videos to follow......
